Have you ever wondered why is it that the word ‘space’ is often seen to spell ‘distance’? Think back to all the moments you believe to be the best ones of your life. Chances are most of them will figure someone else, too – a parent, a grandparent, a sibling, a spouse, a child….We all have this innate need to share our lives with others to lend greater meaning to it. And yet, you may find yourself sometimes yearning to be alone, away from everyone else, just doing what gives you joy, and being in a mental and physical space that you may call your own.
